Mandy (Park City)

"I’m Mandy and I’m thrilled to be part of Time for Her Classes! I’m a single mom of three amazing little girls who are 4, 7, and 9. I’m at a point in my life that I need to focus on myself and find who I am again. I’ve spent the last year defining myself and what is important to me.  The mission of Time for HER speaks to me in so many ways, and I can’t wait to share it with other women.
As moms, we often put our identity into our children.  While this is so important, we also need to nurture and care for ourselves. We need to build our interests and encourage each other. It’s so easy get lost in our daily routine and demands.  Time for Her embodies putting ourselves first so we can be better for our families, even if It’s only for an hour or two once a month.
I’m so excited to be on this adventure with each of you!"

Kelsi (Cache Valley)

"I’m Kelsie Parry.  My husband and I live in Cache Valley and have been married for 6 years. We have two kids, our handsome Ruel (3) and our darling little Adalinda (1).  We really enjoy spending time together as a family! We love camping, rodeos, or even just going for a scenic drive. We also enjoy spending time taking care of our garden and the “Parry Family Farm” which include our dog, cat, horses, chickens, rabbit, and goats. It just keeps growing!
As our family grows and life changes in so many ways, I’ve learned first hand how important it is to step back from the crazy day to day and spend time taking care of myself. Soon after the birth of Adalinda I realized I was dealing with postpartum depression and anxiety. I struggled most days and longed to be back to my “normal” self. As I worked with my therapist and my doctor through many appointments, the biggest piece of advice they gave me was to take care of myself first, then my family. That was hard for me to fathom as I had a newborn and 2 year old, plus the mom guilt on top of that. As I progressed through my struggles and treatment, I started to notice the truth of what they were telling me. The more time I took for myself, the mom guilt lessened, and I was able to feel more like myself again. I was able to be happy with who I am and happy with my role and abilities as a wife and mother. In the short few months that I’ve been involved with Time For HER it’s been just what the Dr. ordered. It’s allowed me to focus on me, which improves my wellbeing and happiness, but also the wellbeing and happiness of my family.
I can’t wait to share this wonderful opportunity with the women of Cache Valley! Whatever your circumstances, whatever your needs, I hope you’ll take the time to join us for a few hours each month and focus on “HER”. As we put together amazing classes that will help you rejuvenate, build new friendships, and enrich your life. "

Shaylise (Davis County)

"Hi, I’m Shaylise- My hobbies right now include renovating our 60 year old brick house and learning new techniques and recipes in the kitchen. I love a good romantic comedy and I will never say no to a good cheese plate.
My husband Alex and I have been married for six years. I have definitely found my perfect match for me- he entertains all of my crazy thoughts and dreams and encourages me to achieve even my wildest goals! We have an 18 month old son, Leo. He is the light of our lives and our favorite little friend! While pregnant with Leo we found out he would be born with Spina Bifida. Cue all the visits with specialists and surgeons to overwhelm us with information. The past 18 months with Leo have been a roller coaster of hard challenges but also amazing achievements!
This is one of the many reasons I feel that we as mothers, wives, daughters, and friends, need Time for HER. It is my biggest joy in life to be Leo’s mom and help him achieve his milestones, and to do that to the best of my abilities I need to have a space for myself to enrich my life, heal from trials, and feel rejuvenated. I am thrilled to be apart of this and help other women have a space to grow and enrich their lives."

Megan (Midway)

"Hi! I'm Megan and I organized Time for HER. I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, got an elementary education degree in Utah and have mostly stayed here for the past nine years. I rarely turn down trying something new and love to be mediocre at many things! I currently love living here in Midway, Utah where I can play outside with my two toddlers, two dogs, and husband, Nate. I love summer more than anything, but also love the solitude of winter skiing. I love traveling and find that it changes how I view my own world. I look forward to meeting you!"
